  • Art in the Park

    Art in The Park is a weekly summer arts program offered by Newberry Arts Center that meets in different parks around Newberry on Friday mornings. It is free and welcomes families to bring their children up to age 13. CREATE Newberry helps by sponsoring the guest artists or by supplying volunteers to help with the activities.

  • Annual Pottery Sale

    The ClayCon Pottery Sale is one of the largest pottery sales in South Carolina, featuring the work of presenters and attendees of the Clay Conference. This sale is open to the public and free to attend.

Plein Air Paint Out Newberry 2025

Calling all art lovers! Join us for this year’s Plein Air Paint Out Newberry. Held by the SC Watermedia Society and hosted by the Newberry Arts Center, the Paint Out will feature live outdoor painting as artists capture scenes around Newberry. Following the competition is a public reception where awards will be announced and the completed paintings will be for sale to the public.
